Green Dock Lights can be installed virtually anywhere. It is designed for easy installation. The process is simple and doesn't interfere with any existing structure. Warning!!!! Warning!!! Warning!!!!
Do not plug unit into 110
volt outlet until all instructions below are
executed.
Bulbs are fragile, protect
until light is ready to be put into water.
Do not throw fish casting
nets near bulb.
1. Find a secure location
to mount the 6"X6"X4" junction box. The box must
be close to 110 volt outlet with a G.F.C.I.
receptacle. If you do not have a G.F.C.I.
receptacle,
contact your local electrician to have one
installed.
2. Mount box securely and
making sure sensor is facing north.
3. Decide where you want
the placement of the light. Determine the depth
of the water. Keep the light at least 4 ft.
below the water line at all times. The placement
of the light is also determined by the
clarity of the water, and the depth of
placement.
4. Using any heavy object
attached with a line, lower the weight and light
into the desired location. Always lower the
weight first and allow the weight to pull the
light in the desired location.
5.Once lowered, plug the
cord into the outdoor G.F.C.I. receptacle. Your
light will come on briefly when you plug
it in... remember the photocell. Then when
evening comes the light should illuminate a
circle of approximately 20' of beautiful, color
reflective, tranquil water.
6. Green Dock Lights are
absolutely maintenance free. Every night the
light goes through a process of naturally
burning off and combating any barnacles or algae
that may occur.
